PrintHQ Vault is a desktop app for your 3D printing files, included with PrintHQ Maker. It keeps the folders you already have, tidies every new download, shows each model in true color and opens it in your slicer with one click.
Opens straight in the slicer you already use
Vault runs on your computer and works with the folders, sites and slicers you already use.
Point Vault at the folders you already keep models in and browse them just as they are on disk. Nothing is moved or renamed, moved files are recognized by their contents, and an unplugged drive shows as offline, never as deleted.
New files wait in the Inbox with a preview, a clean suggested name and a duplicate check. You choose the name and folder before anything moves.
Browse MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse, Thangs and any site you add, like Patreon. Downloads go straight to your Inbox with the page they came from.
Spin any model with its real 3MF colors, see every plate of a project, and check dimensions, print time and filament at a glance.
Vault finds Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, Cura and more on your computer, and opens each file type in the slicer you pick.
Search names, notes, tags, creators, printers, materials and colors, or filter by site, size, slicer and multicolor. Favorites and collections keep your go-tos close.
See what takes up space by type, folder and site, find exact duplicates, and restore anything from Vault Trash.
Keep the models you choose in PrintHQ Cloud, with version history and a clear choice when two computers change the same file.
Share a file, a model or a whole folder with one link. Add a password, an expiry date or a download limit, and turn it off anytime.
Describe what you're after, like “dragon” or “cable clip”, and Vault finds models that look like it, even ones with meaningless file names. It all runs on your computer.
Save a search, like “Multicolor 3MFs” or “Fits the P1S”, and it keeps itself up to date. Log your prints and find what you haven't printed yet.
Link dragon-v1, v2 and v3 so only the newest shows, and see which models have holes or broken faces before your slicer tells you.
Vault follows a model from the site you found it on to the slicer that prints it.
Browse model sites inside Vault, or use your usual browser.
The file lands in your Inbox, along with the page it came from.
Vault previews it, checks for duplicates and suggests a clean name.
Pick a folder, tags and collections, for one file or thirty at once.
Check colors, plates and sizes in the 3D viewer.
Open it in your slicer with one click and start printing.
Every new download stops in the Inbox first. Vault reads it, makes a preview and suggests a name you'd actually search for. Nothing is renamed or moved until you say so.
Open any model and spin it around. 3MF projects show the colors you painted them with, and every plate is laid out like your slicer does, on a build plate sized to fit.
Browse the big model sites without leaving Vault. Hit download on a site and the file goes straight to your Inbox, remembering the page it came from, so you always know where a model came from.
Your library lives on your computer. Turn on sync for the models you choose to back them up, reach them from another computer, and send them to friends or customers.
Describe a place, like a snowy Christmas forest with fairy lights, or start from a preset, and Vault makes a picture of your model there. AI paints the scene around Vault's own render of your model, so the model itself is never redrawn: every detail stays exactly as you designed it.
STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP and G-code. Zips from model sites are unpacked into the files inside them.
Vault is careful with the library you've spent years building.
Your library lives on your computer. Everything except cloud sync and sharing works offline, for up to a month between check-ins.
Vault never deletes files on its own. Removed models go to Vault Trash, where you can restore them.
Pages in Discover run separately from Vault, so a website can't reach your files, your library or your sign-in.
Vault tells you when a new version is out. Every update is signed and checked before it installs.
For macOS and Windows, included with PrintHQ Maker. Install it, sign in, choose your folders, and your library is ready.
Vault comes with the Maker plan. Sign in with your PrintHQ account to activate it on your computer, then sync and share using the 20 GB of cloud storage that comes with Maker.
Download Vault and bring your print files together in one tidy, searchable library.
